As part of our ongoing commitment to our local and national community, we are supporting two worthy charities. On a national level we will be supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust, in conjunction with our partners at LABC. On a more local level we will be supporting Feeding Birkenhead. Both of these charities provide exceptional services. You can learn more below.

Teenage Cancer Trust

In the UK around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ Teenage cancer trust is the only charity dedicated to making this happen.

The charity has opened 28 specialist units within NHS hospitals, bringing young people, to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. You can see the difference it makes in the video below.

Feeding Birkenhead

Feeding Birkenhead was established after a national parliamentary inquiry into hunger which found that the Birkenhead area was one of the worst in the UK, with the local community relying heavily on food banks to feed their families and as little as 7% of children within the area attending school having eaten breakfast. Feeding Birkenhead provides food to churches and schools to ensure the local community are starting each day with a nutritional breakfast.

Over the next few months we will be providing updates on how we are supporting both these worthy causes.
