How it works
Eight weeks after the completion date of a new home, residents are sent a survey about their feelings on their new home.
Residents with an email address receive a digital invite to an online survey portal, and residents without an email address receive their survey through the post with a pre-paid envelope.
The survey period runs from the 1 October to September 30 the year after, meaning there’s still plenty of time to join this year’s survey period talk to your LABC Warranty account manager today to get started.
Once returned and collated, the results of the survey will be available through an interactive online dashboard, making it simple for home builders to see where they’re excelling, and where to focus on driving improvements.
Members of the HBF can use the New Homes Survey to inform their annual HBF Star Rating. A five-star HBF Star Rating is among the most prestigious indicators of a high-quality homebuilder, and those that have earned the rating are proud to showcase their rating on site and in their marketing materials.
The star rating is assessed on areas like:
- Overall satisfaction with the quality of the home.
- Likelihood to recommend your homes to a friend.
- Customer service and handover.
- Design, layout, and cleanliness.
