Use the new Guide to drive quality and build communities

The Good Practice Guide is a key stage-by-key stage guide to what Risk Management Surveyors are looking for on LABC Warranty sites.

Using examples from real-world sites under our warranty, the Guide complements the requirements in our Technical Manual with visual examples of best practice.

Addressing all the major stages we inspect in the course of warranty, the Guide is recommended reading for anyone building with LABC Warranty.

LABC Warranty’s goal is to work with you to produce sites you’re proud to put your name to, and places that residents are proud to call home.

The Good Practice Guide, along with the Technical Manual and close collaboration with your Risk Management Surveyor, is how we achieve that goal together.

What's new in Version 3 of the Guide?

The updated Guide puts aside our former focus on wider site management topics like site tidiness, health and safety, and more to shine a light on quality above all else.

Every major area is covered, including foundations, drainage, superstructure, floors, roofing, first fix, completion and more.

With written and visual instructions, the Guide is a comprehensive supplement to the requirements laid out in the Technical Manual.
