LABC Warranty to provide latent defects insurance for 20th Colindale block for developer Redrow

LABC Warranty has been chosen by Redrow to provide latent defects insurance cover for Block W of the developer’s flagship Colindale development in Barnet, north London.

It will be the 20th block of the 3,000-unit development that LABC Warranty has worked alongside Redrow in a project relationship extending back to the initial phases in 2016.

About Colindale and Redrow

Block W features a nine-storey structure of 213 residential apartments, including 55 affordable homes.

With four further blocks approved by Barnet Council’s planners, Colindale will eventually deliver more than 4,000 much needed, high-quality homes with completion scheduled for 2028.

Anton Smith, Redrow’s Senior Technical Director, said: “Our London division has worked with LABC Warranty for several years. With their collaborative approach and early engagement, they have assisted us in delivering our homes to a high quality. We are delighted to extend this approach into the latest stage of our Colindale Gardens development.”

LABC Warranty’s London Sales Director Julian Roper said: “Our team of technical experts and surveyors have worked alongside Redrow on this fabulous project for several years, fostering an excellent understanding and working relationship.

“Redrow’s vision for this area of Colindale was ambitious. To see that ambition being realised and grow into a thriving new community block by block has been hugely rewarding for everyone involved.”
