LABC Warranty campaign makes finals of another marketing award
A LABC Warranty digital marketing campaign that analysed the changing size of Britain’s homes narrowly missed out in its bid to pick up a second accolade at the Northern Digital Awards 2019.
The campaign, headlined "Building Authority by Challenging Foundations", had already won Best Use of Content Marketing award at the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Annual Construction Marketing Awards and was shortlisted for Best Use of PR in a Search Campaign at the UK Search Awards 2018, both held in London in November.
It faced stiff competition from seven other finalists in Northern Digital’s Best Digital Marketing Campaign – Business-to-Business category at the recent awards event in Leeds.
Devised and run by Reckless digital agency in Chester with support from LABC Warranty’s marketing team, the campaign consisted of three data-led pieces titled; "Are Britain's Houses Getting Smaller?", "Which Cities Have the Worst Standard of Living?" and "Which Cities Have the Smallest Houses."
When it ran in 2018, the LABC Warranty campaign was seen by more than eight million people, gained more than 250 links from world-leading publications including The Guardian, The Times and The Telegraph, and prompted an online petition leading to a debate on housing in the House of Commons.
In its fifth year, Northern Digital Awards recognises the best digital marketing campaigns and talent across the North, as well as rewarding websites, apps and software to reflect the online world that organisations now operate, trade and communicate in.
