About John Farnham
It’s our pleasure to welcome John Farnham to LABC Warranty as our representative in the South West of England and the South of Wales.
Covering this area as our primary point of contact, John will be the first port of call for builders and developers in the region.
While John gets acquainted with the LABC Warranty contacts in the region, we managed to grab him for a quick catch-up on where he’s been and what he’s done.
Can you tell us a little bit about your background?
“My background is in specification sales and account management in the UK housebuilding sector. Most of my career has been in home appliances, working for household names like Electrolux, Samsung, Haier and AO.”
What was your last position before joining LABC Warranty?
“My previous role was Account Director at Haier Smarthome, where I was responsible for new business and account management across builders, as well as managing select distributors who carried out our pre-agreed frameworks.”
What attracted you to LABC Warranty?
“I genuinely love the UK housebuilding sector, so leaving it just wasn’t an option for me. During the interview process, the chance to grow with this business really stood out to me, and that was a big factor in wanting to join.”
Since we’re in the business of homes – what really makes a house a ‘home’ to you?
“For me, what makes a house a home is what goes inside it – the family, the memories, and all the personal touches. Oh, and a good BBQ area!”
