Site Manager Awards

At LABC Warranty we recognise the dedication and commitment it takes to deliver quality sites. Each year, site managers are rewarded for their outstanding contribution to construction with our regional and national Site Manager Awards.

Recognising site managers who go above and beyond

Site managers play a pivotal role in the success of any development and quite often it’s the professional relationship between them and our surveyors that helps to make a site a success. Through our partnership with Local Authority Building Control (LABC), our LABC Warranty Site Manager Award is a special category featured at the LABC Building Excellence Awards.

What you need to know about The Site Manager Awards

The nomination process

Stage 1: LABC Warranty risk management surveyors put forward site managers for this award and each entry is verified by our judges.

Stage 2: The best site managers are chosen and presented with the Site Manager Award in each region. Each regional winner qualifies for the national Site Manager Award.

Stage 3: The National Site Manager of the Year award winner is chosen and announced at the LABC Building Excellence Awards Grand Finals.

How to get nominated

LABC Warranty Risk Management Surveyors are responsible for entering site managers for this award, so you don’t have to do anything.

For a site manager to be considered for nomination, they must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 units on site
  • At least one unit past the second fix stage available at the time of judging
  • Where there are one or more site managers responsible for a development, both can be considered for nomination
  • A site manager who has won in two consecutive years will not be eligible for a nomination the following year.

Each entry put forward by LABC Warranty surveyors are verified by our judges and only the best site managers in each region are nominated for a LABC Warranty Site Manager Award.

  • External works (footpaths, driveway and hardstanding, retaining walls and free standing walls)
  • Health and safety (welfare facilities, protection of work in progress, walkways, protection from falling)
