Overview

Cricketer’s Hill is a milestone development for Gentoo. Using monobloc air-source heat pumps, the homes will meet the ‘A’ criteria for an Energy Performance Certificate – a significant step forward for the Gentoo’s sustainability drive.

The homes are also built on a former quarry infill, a complexity that brings its own challenges, including extensive contamination treatment and specialist piling techniques.

Combined, these restrictions meant collaboration was required across Gentoo, RE:GEN, LABC Warranty and Local Authority Building Control.
