How did you feel when you found out you had won the award?
I was over the moon, as the team and I put a huge amount of work in to maintain the standards we wanted to achieve for Strata and our customers.
What does it mean to you personally?
For me, the award has shown me if you work hard and keep like-minded people around you can achieve anything, so this award means a lot to the team and I.
Anyone who has worked with me over the past year or so knows how hard we have all worked to achieve this.
What makes a good Site Manager?
A good site manager is a leader, and if you lead by example the right people will work with you rather than for you. Try and stay grounded, as we are all in it together.
What challenges have you faced, like COVID, supply issues, the economy, and how have you overcome them?
The past 18 months has probably been the toughest period we have all experienced since 2008.
We work closely with our support office as we can only achieve what we achieve with a strong team around us, maintaining regular communication with all areas of the business.
Luckily at Strata we have a very strong likeminded team not only on site but back in the support office as well.
What one success in your work are you most proud of and why?
Being part of a team that makes a customer’s dream house a reality.
