Warranty Position

Definition: Pattresses in external wall linings (to support wall mounted elements such as basins, cabinets, etc).

Requirement: All pattress materials installed within the external wall to achieve combustibility class A2-s1,d0 or better.

Is the position indisputable? Yes.

December 2018 Amendment

Section 2 Reference: 2(6)(a)(i).

Reference titles: Anything located within any space forming part of the wall.


Approved Document

Reference title(s): Section 10.6.

References: Any insulation product, filler material (such as the core materials of metal composite panels, sandwich panels and window spandrel panels but not including gaskets, sealants and similar) etc. used in the construction of an external wall should be class A2-s3, d2.
