Our annual award celebration, The Bricks, took off in style this year at London’s highest iconic event space, Landing Forty Two.

Celebrating the best in the construction industry, developers ranging from small to medium up to the country’s national house builders attended our exclusive event in the sky.

Take a look at the highlights of the day, which developers made it to the top and how you can become a finalist next year!

As those of you who have attended The Bricks over the last few years will know it is not your traditional awards ceremony, instead we like to pull out all the stops and make it a celebration to remember!

This year guests were invited to ‘come fly with us’ at our exclusive event in the sky and even received an in-flight kit prior to the event which included an eye mask, ear plugs, a mini bag of pretzels and a miniature bottle of gin – to help calm the nervous flyers on board!

On arrival, guests were asked to ‘check-in’ for their flight but not before passing through security where extra checks were carried out on a few suspicious looking passengers! LABC Warranty’s very own cabin crew were on hand throughout the day to ensure all passengers had a pleasant journey with us

And of course you can’t take flight without knowing where the exits are so our cabin crew took to the stage to go through our ‘alternative’ safety demonstration to ensure all passengers were prepared to tackle any turbulence or wardrobe mishaps along the way.

With regular updates from the Captain and trolley dollies on hand to attend to our passengers’ every need, all those on board enjoyed a smooth flight. Not to mention our in-flight entertainment where guests were serenaded by a roaming acoustic party band - The Super Tenants and thoroughly surprised by the randomness of Irish hip hop comedy duo,Abandoman.

The icing on the cake was our wonderful host for the day, Gyles Brandreth who I think everyone will agree was genuine, heartfelt and utterly hilarious!

Don’t just take our word for it though check out our highlights and see for yourself!
