Redrow are a top 10 house builder producing over 4,000 homes each year with an overall focus on building homes that meet Londoners requirements and at an affordable price.

We spoke to James Holmear, head of Sales at Redrow, about their recent development ‘Colindale Gardens’ and how they plan to achieve this.

“The housing market in London is challenging particularly for local young first time buyers. We focus on new housing which is affordable for the mass market.”

Colindale gardens will consist of 2,900 homes, a primary school for 600 pupils and retail and commercial space which will be built over the next 12 years.

With the project being such large scale having a structural warranty in place was high priority. James commented “What we were really looking for was how we could differentiate ourselves in the market – one of the key things was the insurance and deposit cover we could offer. We spoke to a few suppliers and LABC Warranty were absolutely a standout option for us. From day one they have been great to work with, really personable, easy to approach and are on site inspecting.”

Regular inspections are an important part of the build process. It also means that “customers have the peace of mind knowing that all work is being carried out to the highest standards with their warranty that will cover them for the next 10 years.”

“The size and scale of this job is a huge commitment with LABC Warranty and I’m really excited to see how it progresses and working together over the next 12 years.” – James Holmear, Sales Director.
