Strong performance sees LABC Warranty expand its account management team

LABC Warranty has expanded its account management team following better-than-expected performance through 2020 and record sales through the first quarter of 2021.

The structural warranty provider’s London team has been strengthened to meet demand for dedicated customer support and additional expertise to support developers through significant, impending changes to building safety legislation.

While 2020 performance remained strong, the first three months of 2021 has seen record sales for LABC Warranty, with the number of units being covered among the highest for three years.

Robert Warrington has joined the London team as Key Account Manager, with a focus on low-rise (under six storey) developments, or up to a value of £22.5m. Rob will also provide support for Regional Director Julian Roper, who focuses on larger, more complex developments..

Ylyssa Usher becomes Key Account Associate for London, working alongside Julian and Robert to provide warranty process support for all projects across the capital.

Elsewhere, Ian Clarke joins later this summer as the new Business Development Manager for the Midlands. An experienced account manager, he will work with the established team including Lee Thomas (South West and South Wales), Craig Ewles (South East) and Michael Tottle (North of England and North Wales).

LABC Warranty works with some of the largest house builders, contractors and housing associations in the country, providing 10 or 12 years of cover for new homes, homes to rent, social housing, self-build, completed homes and commercial projects.
