Let's hear it for the UK's Site Managers!
Site Managers on what it means to win a Site Manager of the Year award...
The UK's Site Managers play a essential role in the success of any development.
Their relationship with our inspectors goes a long way to helping to make a site a success.
It's why we recognise Site Managers' work every year through the LABC Warranty Site Manager of the Year awards. With 2020 being such a challenging year, rather than having one overall winner each and every one of our 15 regional winners are worthy champions!

What does winning Site Manager of the Year mean to you and your team?
Tony: “Winning the award feels very rewarding for both myself and the build team working on the project. It is great for the work to be recognised and gives all involved in the project an extra boost to keep achieving the high quality our customers expect and deserve.”
What was the biggest challenge on your site and how did you overcome it?
Tony: “The project was our first development with Leeds City Council so we all worked hard to meet the customer’s requirements and expectations on a site which was surrounded by existing properties. Ground conditions were very difficult to work in but we strived to maintain the high quality standards throughout. The LABC/Warranty inspectors were very helpful throughout and trust was quickly built so we could drive the programme but not to the detriment of the finish.”
What aspect of the site and work are you most proud about?
Tony: “I am proud of the finish we achieved in each house. Willmott Dixon’s internal Quality management system we have in place helps to achieve this and helps guide the build team and supply chain partners to get things done right, the first time round. The can-do attitude on our sites makes work which can be difficult, much easier and the workplace a nice place to be.”
