Let's hear it for the Site Managers!

What does it mean for Site Managers to win our Site Manager of the Year award?

Site Managers are people key to the success of a development.

Often it's the relationship formed between them and our risk management surveyors that plays a significant role in a site's success.

It's why every year we recognise Site Managers with the LABC Warranty Site Manager of the Year awards. In 2020, each and every one of our 15 regional winners are worthy champions!

Here’s the story of their success…in their words.

What does winning Site Manager of the Year mean to you and your team?

Richard: “It’s fantastic for a reputable external company to recognise the hard work and determination that our whole site team display on a daily basis. The site team, not just myself, are proud to have this award behind them as it really shows that our hard work is completely worthwhile.”

What was the biggest challenge on your site and how did you overcome it?

Richard: “The biggest challenge on our site is the size of the homes that we build, especially in comparison to other developments, and maintaining the superb quality we pride ourselves on. Chris Stanton (LABCW Risk Management Surveyor) has accommodated and educated me in achieving the final result we achieved by sharing his knowledge and experience.”

What aspect of the site and work are you most proud about?

Richard: “My biggest merit is the finish of the homes and the development, as well as our positive customer surveys. Keeping our 100% score has been a challenge but it’s fantastic to see how happy our homeowners are when they move in. That’s what it’s all about.”
