The Consumer Code for Homebuilders is seeking feedback from all of those involved in the new homes market.

The Consumer Code for Homebuilders is an industry led code of conduct, jointly established by LABC Warranty, which was developed to make the home buying process fairer and more transparent for purchasers.

Having been in operation for over 4 years the Code is now seeking the views of all those involved in the new homes market to inform the future development of the Code.

The consultation covers 3 main areas:

  1. The Code requirements and guidance
  2. Revisions required in light of the application to CTSI Consumer Codes Approval Scheme
  3. General code matters

Responses to the consultation must be submitted by October 31st.
