Alterations
Extensions and alterations can help to personalise your new home
by increasing space or adding character. However, these works must
be undertaken with great care in order that they do not
inadvertently damage the structure of your home and invalidate your
warranty cover.
LABC Warranty will not be liable for any loss or damage due to, or
arising from: any alteration, modification or addition to a housing
unit after the issue of the Certificate of Insurance. This is
unless the Underwriter has been informed, the Certificate of
Insurance endorsed, and any applicable additional premium paid to
the Underwriter.
We recommend that you read your LABC Warranty policy document
for your home carefully if you are planning an extension or
alterations.
